Not Your Average Museum Tour

Well, I think we can all picture that boring self-guided museum tour where we wander around like lost sheep trying to take in everything there is to see...enter the Museo Historico Juan Santamaria in Alajuela, Costa Rica, just twenty-minutes outside of San Jose.

Not your average museum tour, the Museo Historica Juan Santamaria is an experience designed to inform and entertain while combining action, comedy and history into one.  Learn about the railroad, mule trains, and the Costa Rican Civil War.  Visitors will discover paintings, displays in the museums back garden, and even take part in a mock television game show!

This FREE one-hour tour/show takes place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday.  And don't worry, you don't need to have a good understanding of Spanish as much of the tour is in English  ;)
