Well, here's another reason to celebrate the New Year! Check out these airlines offering new routes, ie. direct flights, to Costa Rica in 2014 - you gotta love it ;)

JetBlue:
In addition to their direct flights from New York City and Boston to Liberia International Airport in Guanacaste, JetBlue now offers direct flights from Ft. Lauderdale to San Jose, Costa Rica

Delta Air Lines: 
Seasonally (Dec to Mar; Apr to Aug), Delta Air Lines is now offering direct flights from New York City to San Jose

Ticos Airlines:
This brand new Costa Rican airline will be offering non-stop flights to San Jose from Caracas, Venezuela; Mexico City, Mexico; Miami, FL and New York City

Avianca:
Now offering direct flights from Newark, NJ, to San Jose
