Volunteering in Costa Rica is of those experiences you'll have trouble finding at a typical resort. Volunteering gives you the chance to authentically connect with people, animals and nature in a meaningful way that'll have a hold on your heart for years to come.Volunteering opportunities in Costa Rica are abundant. And while many voluntourism companies exist to help organize and sell you on a program, we recommend contacting the organization you want to volunteer with directly, if at all possible.
